How many seats are open for the Board of Selectmen this time? How Long Is This Term?

This is the standard election cycle for the Board of Selectmen where two seats are up for election/re-election for a 3 year term. I’ll be running for re-election for another 3 year term!

Will it be safe to vote? How will we vote?

The Town has modified the polling locations to improve safety for voters and poll workers in light of Covid-19 and its variants. I’ve voted three times in person since these changes went into place, and it was very efficient and cleanly. I will be confirming the Town Clerk’s plans for absentee, hours, and early voting if there are any plans to deviate from what is normal. Learn more about voting in the detailed guide here:

How can I stay up to date on news from the Town?

Are local elections important? Will my vote matter for this?

Your vote ABSOLUTELY matters! The decisions that get made by the Board of Selectmen impact you very often, like how much you pay for utilities or who gets appointed to various town functions, and a ton of other things that you deal with every single day. People often think of State or Federal elections because those seem like “big” roles, but the things that get decided on at that level are slow moving and sometimes never even come to pass. Here at the local level, changes that impact you can be happening almost every quarter, and you have more frequent opportunity to turn over elected officials who aren’t performing as you expect (we have an election in Town for many roles EVERY year). So please, come out and be a voter, we’re counting on you to help us keep our elected roles filled with dedicated, knowledgeable, and effective officials who residents want to see serving.

Events & Appearances

How my campaign works during this Election

Will there be candidate forums, interviews, & debates?

I’m happy to participate in events, such as in-person interviews, remote interviews, broadcasted interviews etc. So if you’re hosting a candidate forum, debate, or looking for an interview, just reach out and let me know! Just remember to follow any applicable broadcast regulations.

Will there be any fundraisers?

Yes, on February 12th at 7pm at Mizuya! Although I think the better way to put it is, when will I not be fundraising? Running for elections is not cheap, so I am always accepting donations! One of the biggest things I miss since the pandemic is in-person events for fundraisers, so I’ll see what I can do about that, but in the meantime contributions can always be made online or by mail 24/7. I deeply appreciate your support:

Tell them why you think I’m a good Selectman and why you think I should serve another term, make sure they’re registered to vote, and remind them about the election on Monday April 7th, 2025 (yes you read that correctly, it’s Monday NOT Tuesday!).
